Horror Film Review - The Possession of Michael Kings

Cast: Shane Johnson, Ella Anderson, Cara Pifko
Director: David Jung

Although the cast and crew of this film are not as well known as other horror films, it is by far one of the best horror movies I have watched in a looong time. A really long time. This film had the same supernatural things happening to the characters but the storyline was completely different and every time possessed Michael King (Shane Johnson) came up close and personal into the camera, I could not help but cover my eyes, there was no extra make - up or mask used, he just wore weird contact lenses but the amount of fear that created in me was unbelievable. This was literally one of those seat grabbing films where you find yourself yelling "Don't go in there!" at the screen hoping for the characters to hear you however they fail to do as you told them and end up dead or even worse.. POSSESSED!!

Shane Johnson played a witty family man who had no belief in God or the devil. Who knew this would lead him to all sorts of trouble as he tries to summon the devil, to try and find answers to his wife's death not knowing what is in store for him. The film included some classic possessed moments like when he crawls around like a spider looking for his daughter, Ellie.

If you are reading this and have already watched the film but did not get frightened every time Michael smiled at the camera while under the devil's possession or had a mini panic attack when Ellie's bed sheets were covered in blood then you most definitely must have passed out during the film. That is all I can say!
